Artist in Residence Program

The Music in Me Artist in Residence Program offers another holistic approach for students by mixing theater arts, music, drumming and dance to help instruct youth in writing, reading, storytelling, communications and art. The end product is the creation of a professionally published book by students, working collaboratively and discovering their voice and the publishing process as well. Most of all, empowering students by helping them discover their "superpowers." The Music in Me Foundation believes that each child has his or her own gifts. If we can help them appreciate themselves, then they can appreciate those around them too. Thus, creating a more unified community and decreasing incidents of bullying as well. Programs include in-school instruction with highly experienced/professional performing artists, writers and educators, field trips and other experiential events to give students opportunities to learn and shine! Individual audience's needs are accommodated.
