Shanna Lim is a multifaceted movement artist, vocalist, and educator with over 10 years of experience as a teaching artist throughout the DMV (Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia) region, specializing in working with youth with various challenges. For the past six years, Shanna has been a dedicated member of the Music in Me Foundation International (MIMFI), where she has leveraged her diverse artistic talents to design and implement innovative arts programs that empower marginalized communities, foster self-expression, and promote positive social change.

With a foundation in classical piano, voice, hip-hop, soul, R&B, and jazz, her versatile abilities have enabled her to work with a wide range of communities, from urban centers to international cultures around the globe. Her dynamic range and emotional depth have allowed her to connect deeply with classrooms and audiences, enhancing her multifaceted approach to the arts.

As a performance artist, Shanna’s visual, body painting, and wearable art have graced international stages, demonstrating her unique ability to integrate visual and performing arts into compelling and thought-provoking presentations. Her work as a global healing arts educator and organizer reflects her commitment to using art as a medium for community healing and empowerment.
